Warsaw, Poland
We started off the day davening in the Nozyk Shul, which still houses a minyan every day consisting if Warsaw's Jews. It was really nice to see that even after all of the destruction we learned about, a significant Jewish population still lives here. Next we traveled to the Jewish cemetery in Warsaw where we visited the graves of many important figures from the 19th and 20th centuries. The cemetery was huge filled to capacity with graves. We also payed our respect to the mass burial site for those of the Warsaw Ghetto who were victims of hunger and disease.
